Teriyaki Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 500g Beef (cut into thin strips, following the grain)
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (sliced)
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper (sliced)
  • 1 Large Onion (sliced)
  • Chili Peppers (optional, if you like it spicy)
  • Butter (for cooking)

For the Marinade:

  • Teriyaki Sauce
  • Oyster Sauce
  • 5 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sweet Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • 1 Piece Ginger (grated)
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade and Beef: In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, sugar, and salt. Add the beef strips and ensure they are well-coated with the marinade. Let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

  2. Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet or wok over medium heat until melted and hot. Add the marinated beef to the pan, ensuring the pieces are spread out evenly. Cover the pan to retain moisture and cook on low heat, allowing the beef to cook slowly. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. Add Vegetables: Once the beef is almost cooked through, add the sliced onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the pan. Continue cooking until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

  4. Season and Serve: Taste the dish and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve the teriyaki beef stir-fry hot, garnished with additional chopped chili peppers if desired for extra heat.
