Beef Teriyaki Recipe
Ingredients:
- 250 grams lean beef, sliced thinly
- For the Sauce:
- 2 sachets Saori Teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 2 large onions, sliced
- A few green chilies, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the Saori Teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, light soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
-
Marinate the Beef: Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring that all pieces are well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for approximately 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse into the meat.
-
Cook the Onions and Chilies: Heat a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions become soft and translucent, and the chilies release their aroma.
-
Add the Beef and Sauce: Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator and add it to the pan with the sautéed onions and chilies. Pour in the remaining marinade.
-
Simmer: Add 100 ml of water to the pan to help create a sauce. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Continue cooking until the beef is fully cooked and tender, and the sauce has thickened slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
-
Serve: Once the beef is cooked through and the sauce has reduced to your desired consistency, remove from heat. Serve the Beef Teriyaki hot, garnished with additional green chilies if desired.
