Savory Tofu and Egg Stir-Fry Delight
Orek Telur and Tahu Delight
Ingredients:
- 2 egg whites
- 1 whole egg (whisked together with the egg whites)
- 2 large blocks of tofu, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- A splash of tomato sauce
- A dash of chili sauce (optional, for a hint of spice)
- A splash of oyster sauce
- Salt, sugar, and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- 
Prepare the Tofu: 
 Begin by frying the tofu cubes until they are halfway cooked. Set them aside for later use.
- 
Sauté Aromatics: 
 In a skillet or wok, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking them until they become fragrant and translucent.
- 
Cook the Eggs: 
 Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet with the onions and garlic. Scramble the eggs, stirring continuously until they are fully cooked and starting to set.

Combine Ingredients: 
 Add the pre-fried tofu cubes to the skillet. Stir in a splash of tomato sauce, a dash of chili sauce (if using), and continue to mix until the tofu and eggs are well combined.

Season the Dish: 
 Add a splash of oyster sauce, then season with salt, sugar, and pepper to taste. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency. If you prefer a drier dish, cook a bit longer until most of the liquid has evaporated.

Taste and Serve: 
 Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed. Once the flavors are balanced and the dish has thickened, it is ready to be served.
