Sayur Kari Nangka Tahu Tempe: A Delightful Indonesian Vegetable Curry

Lemongrass (sereh), bruised 1 stalk

Sugar To taste
Seasoning powder (Royco) To taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jackfruit: Start by boiling the boiled young jackfruit in water until it reaches a rolling boil. This step helps to ensure freshness and prevents spoilage.

  2. Fry the Tofu and Tempeh: In a separate pan, heat oil over medium heat and fry the tofu blocks and tempeh until golden brown and crispy. Once cooked, remove them from the oil and let them drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

  3. Make the Spice Paste: Using a mortar and pestle or a blender, combine the garlic, shallots, red chili, coriander seeds, and candlenuts to form a smooth spice paste.
