Beef Steak Sederhana

Ingredients:

  • 5 thin slices of beef
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • Ground black pepper
  • Black pepper powder
  • 3 green beans, trimmed
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 potato, peeled and fried
  • Oyster sauce
  • Sweet soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Beef:

    • In a bowl, combine the oyster sauce, salt, ground black pepper, black pepper powder, and sweet soy sauce. Add the thinly sliced beef to this mixture. Ensure the beef is well coated with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate for at least 1 hour; you can marinate it longer for a more intense flavor.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables:

    • While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Boil the green beans and sliced carrot in water until they are tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
    • Peel and cut the potato into thin slices or wedges. Fry the potato slices in hot oil until they turn golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  3. Cook the Beef:

    • Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of margarine to the pan.
    • Once the margarine is melted and hot, arrange the marinated beef slices in the pan. Cook the beef, turning occasionally, until it is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
    • Add the finely sliced onion to the pan during the last few minutes of cooking to soften and slightly caramelize.
  4. Assemble the Dish:

    • On a serving plate, arrange the cooked beef slices. Add the boiled green beans, carrot slices, and crispy fried potato.
    • Drizzle your preferred amount of hot sauce and extra sweet soy sauce over the top if desired.
  5. Serve:
