Ayam Saos Asam Manis Simple (Sweet and Sour Chicken)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg chicken breast fillet, diced
  • Juice of 1 lime for marinating
  • 1 large pack of instant chicken seasoning flour, mixed with a bit of all-purpose flour
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 3 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large tomato, pureed
  • 3 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Sugar and salt to taste
  • Ground pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Marinate the diced chicken breast with salt and lime juice. Let it sit for a while.
    • Coat the chicken pieces first in a wet batter (made from the seasoned flour mixture) and then in a dry batter. Let them rest briefly.
  2. Fry the Chicken:

    • Once the chicken is fully infused with the sauce, remove from heat.
