Sayur Tahu Sederhana Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 pieces of yellow tofu (tahu kuning)
  • 3 small carrots
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1 clove garlic (adjust to taste)
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 1 tomato
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tablespoon seasoned salt (Ladaku)
  • A pinch of Royco seasoning
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Wash and cut the carrots and tofu into bite-sized pieces.
    • Slice the red onion, garlic, green onion, and tomato.
  2. Sauté Vegetables:

    • Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add the sliced red onion, garlic, and green onion to the pan. Sauté until fragrant and the onions are translucent.
  3. Boil the Vegetables:

    • In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
    • Once boiling, add the carrots and cook until tender.
  4. Add Tofu and Seasonings:

    • Add the tofu pieces to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
    • Stir in the sautéed mixture, along with the tomato slices.
    • Season with salt, sugar, seasoned salt (Ladaku), and a pinch of Royco seasoning.
  5. Simmer and Serve:

    • Allow the mixture to simmer for a few more minutes to let the flavors meld together.
    • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
    • Serve hot and enjoy this comforting, simple vegetable and tofu stew.
