Tumis Kacang Panjang with Tofu and Tempe: A Flavorful Stir-Fry Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of long green beans, cut into 3 cm pieces
- 2 blocks of tofu (5×5 cm each), diced
- 1 block of tempeh (10×3 cm), diced
- 1 long carrot, sliced
- 6 beef meatballs
- For the Spice Blend:
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 shallots, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 piece of galangal (about 2 cm), sliced
- 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 5 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
- 10 red chili peppers, whole
- Cooking oil for sautéing
- 2 glasses of water
- Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Ingredients:
- Cut the long green beans into 3 cm pieces.
- Dice the tofu and tempeh into small cubes.
- Slice the carrot into thin rounds.
- Mince the garlic and shallots, and finely chop the onion.
- Chop the tomatoes and slice the galangal.
- Keep the red chili peppers whole to add a burst of flavor.

- In a large pan or wok, heat a generous amount of cooking oil over medium heat.
