Instructions:
- Place sliced beef in a small bowl.
- Add a dash of salt, a dash of pepper, and 1/2 tsp of minced garlic to the beef.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- In another bowl, combine sugar, black pepper, minced garlic, fish sauce, and soy sauce. Set aside.
- Heat a skillet or wok over high heat.
- Stir-fry the marinated beef until cooked throughout.
- Add broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, snow peas, and celery to the skillet.
- Stir and shake the pan constantly for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables just start to become aromatic.
- Blend in the fish sauce mixture for an extra burst of flavor.
- Add sliced onion, napa cabbage leaves, and a splash of oyster sauce to the skillet.
- Continue to stir-fry for approximately 1 minute or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Serve the delicious Beef Chow Mein over hot cooked rice.
