Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 3 cups corn cereal
- 3 cups mixed nuts (such as peanuts, almonds, cashews)
Instructions:
Step | Description |

1 | In a double boiler, melt white chocolate and shortening. Stir occasionally until smooth. |
2 | While the chocolate is melting, combine all the cereal and nuts in a very large bowl. |
3 | Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, pour it over the cereal and nuts mixture. Gently stir until all pieces are evenly coated. |
4 | Scoop the mixture onto large cookie sheets or jelly roll pans, spreading it out evenly to set. |
5 | Allow the white chocolate to harden completely. This usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour at room temperature. |
6 | Once hardened, break the mixture into bite-sized pieces. |
7 | Store in a large airtight container or Ziploc-type bags. |
