Soft Anchovy Rolls Recipe

Instructions:
- Activate the yeast: Start by crumbling the fresh yeast into a small bowl. Add the water at room temperature and stir well with a fork until the yeast dissolves.
- Mix the dough: Transfer the yeast mixture into the bowl of a stand mixer. Add the flour and salt. Attach the dough hook and mix the ingredients until they come together to form a dough. Continue mixing for a few minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Knead and rise: Remove the dough from the mixer and shape it into a ball. Place it back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for about 2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
- Shape the rolls: Once the dough has risen, divide it into 13 equal portions, each about 60g. Roll each portion into a small log about 20 cm long.
- Rest the dough: Arrange the shaped rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops lightly with vegetable oil. Cover them with a cloth and allow them to rest for another 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven: While the rolls are resting, preheat the oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF).
- Bake: Once the rolls have rested, place the baking tray in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
- Cool and serve: Allow the soft anchovy rolls to cool slightly before serving. These rolls are perfect as an appetizer or paired with your favorite dishes.
