Ingredients:

  • 5 carrots, cut into sticks and boiled
  • 5 potatoes, diced and fried, lightly salted
  • Lettuce, to taste
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 5 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 6 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 500 ml water
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Beef Balls:

    • Mix the ground beef with all-purpose flour, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, similar in size to bite-sized portions.
  2. Sauté Aromatics:

    • In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic and sliced onion, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Simmer the Sauce:

    • Add the sweet soy sauce and soy sauce to the pan, stirring well. Allow the mixture to come to a boil. Once boiling, pour in the water and add the diced tomatoes. Continue to cook until the sauce starts to simmer.
  4. Cook the Meatballs and Eggs:

    • Gently add the prepared meatballs and hard-boiled eggs into the sauce. Let them cook until the meatballs are fully cooked and the flavors have melded together.
  5. Season and Adjust:

    • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with sugar, salt, and pepper as needed. Once the flavor is well-balanced, turn off the heat.
  6. Assemble and Serve:

    • Arrange the boiled carrot sticks, fried potatoes, and lettuce on a serving platter. Top with the meatballs and hard-boiled eggs, then ladle the rich sauce over the top.
