1/3 – 1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Apple Mixture:

    • Peel, core, and chop the apples.
    • In a saucepan, combine the chopped apples, half-and-half cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, 2 tablespoons of butter, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and raisins.
    • Simmer the mixture over low heat until the apples are very soft, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  2. Prepare Muffin Batter:

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and remaining brown sugar. Add salt to the mixture.

    • Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
    • Place the muffin tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Serve:

    • Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
    • Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy the delightful blend of apple, cinnamon, and creamy goodness!
