- 1 bay leaf
- Oil (as required)
- 1 tsp lemon juice

- Fresh coriander (chopped)
- Spring onions (chopped)

Prepare the fish: Wash the fish and cut it into 1-inch pieces. In a bowl, mix coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and chopped ginger to make a paste.

Cook the fish: Heat oil in a pan and add the spice paste. Cook for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. Add the fish pieces and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Once cooked, remove the fish and set it aside.
