Telor Balado Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 stalk green onion (sliced diagonally)
  • Sugar, seasoning, and salt (to taste)
  • Ground spices:
    • 5 shallots
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 5 large red chilies
    • 1 tomato

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Eggs: Begin by boiling the eggs until they are fully cooked. Once cooked, allow them to cool, then peel off the shells.

  2. Cook the Spice Blend: In a pan, sauté the ground spices until they become fragrant and soften. Add a small amount of water to help with the cooking process. Season the mixture with salt, seasoning, and sugar to taste.

  3. Combine Ingredients: Gently add the peeled eggs to the pan with the sautéed spice blend. Stir well to coat the eggs evenly with the spices.

  4. Add Green Onions: Incorporate the sliced green onions into the mixture. Stir everything together, making sure the flavors are well combined.

  5. Adjust Seasoning: Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding more salt, sugar, or seasoning to suit your preference.

  6. Serve: Once the eggs are well coated and the flavors are balanced, turn off the heat. Transfer the Telor Balado to a serving dish and enjoy!
