Balado Teri Tempe: A Flavorful Indonesian Dish

Ingredients:

Tempe (cut into cubes) 1 pack (about 100g)
Dried anchovies (Ikan Teri) 100g
Salt To taste
Flavor enhancer (optional) To taste
Cooking oil As needed
Bumbu Halus (Ground Spices)
Red chilies 20 pieces
Tomatoes 5 pieces
Garlic 1 clove
Shallots 4 cloves

Instructions:

Step Action
1 Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the tempe and dried anchovies until golden brown. Set them aside.
2 In the same pan, sauté the shallots and garlic until fragrant.
3 Add the ground chili and tomato mixture to the pan and cook until the spices release their aroma.
4 Season with salt and flavor enhancer, adjusting to taste.
5 Stir in the fried anchovies and tempe, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
6 Remove from heat and serve warm with steamed rice. Enjoy! 🍽
