Balado Tuna Recipe
Ingredients

| Tuna (tongkol) | 100 grams (1 ons) |
| Instant Balado Seasoning | 1 packet |
| Shallots (Bawang Merah) | 3 pieces |
| Garlic (Bawang Putih) | 2 cloves |
| Tomatoes | 1 medium, chopped |
| Sugar | To taste |
| Royco Seasoning | To taste |
| Cooking Oil | For sautéing |
Instructions
- Prepare the Aromatics: Blend the shallots, garlic, and tomatoes until smooth.
- Sauté the Mixture: Heat a little cooking oil in a pan over medium heat, then sauté the blended mixture until fragrant.
- Add Instant Seasoning: Stir in the instant Balado seasoning and cook until the spices are well combined.
- Reserve Some Sauce: Set aside a portion of the sautéed spice mixture for future use; this can be stored in the fridge.
- Cook the Tuna: In the remaining spice mixture in the pan, add a little water, then gently place the tuna in. Add sugar and Royco seasoning to taste.
- Simmer: Allow the tuna to cook thoroughly, ensuring it’s well coated in the sauce.
- Serve: Enjoy your Balado Tuna with steamed rice for a complete meal.
Note: The quantity of the spice mixture is suitable for up to 500 grams of tuna; however, for a smaller portion, just use about 1 tablespoon of seasoning for 100 grams of tuna. Enjoy your flavorful dish!
