Spicy Stir-Fried Beef, Sausage, and Potatoes (Tumis Daging Sapi, Sosis, dan Kentang Pedas)

Ingredients:

  • 5 ounces of beef
  • 4 small sausages
  • 1 potato
  • 6 red chilies
  • 6 green chilies
  • 2 bird’s eye chilies
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 shallots
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 1 scallion

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Rinse all the ingredients thoroughly to ensure cleanliness.
    • Slice the beef thinly.
    • Cut the sausages diagonally into long strips.
    • Dice the potato into small cubes.
    • Thinly slice all the chilies diagonally.
    • Thinly slice the garlic and shallots.
  2. Fry the Potatoes:

    • Fry the diced potatoes until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
    • Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  3. Stir-Fry:

    • Heat a bit of oil in a pan.
    • Sauté the sliced garlic and shallots until they become fragrant and slightly golden.
    • Add the sliced chilies and continue to sauté until the chilies become tender.
    • Add the beef slices and sausages to the pan. Stir-fry until the beef is cooked through and the sausages are heated.
    • Season with a pinch of salt, a pinch of granulated sugar, sweet soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

    • Add the fried potatoes to the stir-fry. Mix well to ensure the potatoes are coated with the sauce and the flavors are evenly distributed.
    • Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Finely chop the scallion and sprinkle it over the stir-fry as a garnish.
