Spicy Beef Yakiniku Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg beef (sliced thinly)
  • Spice Paste:
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
  • Stir-fry:
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1/2 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
    • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper (adjust according to spice preference)
    • 1/2 onion (sliced)
    • 150 cc water

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Spice Paste: Blend the garlic and ginger together until smooth.

  2. Heat the Oil: In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat.

  3. Cook the Spice Paste: Add the blended garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté until the mixture changes color and becomes aromatic.

  4. Add the Beef: Incorporate the sliced beef into the pan and stir-fry until the meat changes color.

  5. Season the Beef: Add the ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce, and 1/2 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce to the beef. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  6. Add Water and Adjust Seasoning: Pour in 150 cc of water. Adjust the seasoning to taste and let it simmer until the beef is cooked through and the flavors are well-blended.

  7. Add Onion: Stir in the sliced onion and cook briefly until it becomes tender.

  8. Serve: Serve hot and enjoy this flavorful and spicy beef yakiniku!
