Black Pepper Beef (Daging Sapi Lada Hitam) Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 grams (1/2 kg) beef
- For Sautéing:
- 10 cloves garlic
- 1.5 cm ginger
- For Additional Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1/2 tablespoon flavor enhancer (Masako)
- 1.5 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 5 tablespoons black pepper
- For Marinating Beef:
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 4 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- For Garnish:
- 7 large red chilies (seeds removed and diced)
- 7 green chilies (seeds removed and diced)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- Thickening Agent:
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with the water)

- Slice the beef into long strips and marinate with the marinade ingredients (cooking oil, oyster sauce, and sweet soy sauce). Allow it to marinate for at least 1 hour to absorb the flavors.
