Black Pepper Beef with Green Chilies

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of beef
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 green chilies
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons sweet soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Rinse the beef thoroughly and slice it thinly.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics:

    • Thinly slice the onion and chop the garlic. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until they become fragrant and translucent.
  3. Cook the Beef:

    • Add the sliced beef to the pan with the onions and garlic. Pour in a small amount of water to help cook the beef.
  4. Season the Dish:

    • Stir in the black pepper sauce, sweet soy sauce, ground black pepper, ground white pepper, salt, and sugar. Adjust the seasoning according to taste.
  5. Simmer and Reduce:

    • Cook until the beef is tender and the liquid has reduced slightly.
  6. Add Chilies and Tomato:

    • Slice the green chilies and chop the tomato. Add them to the pan and cook for a few more minutes, just enough to soften the chilies and tomato while maintaining their crispness.
  7. Serve:

    • Transfer the dish to a serving plate and enjoy!

This flavorful and spicy dish pairs wonderfully with steamed rice, creating a balanced and satisfying meal.
