- Cracked black pepper
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- Tabasco sauce
- Worcestershire sauce
- Butter
Instructions:
-
Prepare Shrimp: Place whole shrimp in a single layer in an ovenproof dish.
-
Season Shrimp: Drizzle olive oil on top of the shrimp. Then generously sprinkle cracked black pepper over the shrimp. Don’t be shy with the pepper; the shrimp should be well-coated. Add plenty of salt, lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Remember that you are seasoning through the shells, so be generous.
-
Add Butter: Cut up a good amount of butter on top of the seasoned shrimp.
-
Broil Shrimp: Preheat your broiler. Place the dish of seasoned shrimp under the broiler and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
-
Check for Doneness: To check if the shrimp are done, they should be pink and opaque. You can also taste one to ensure they are cooked to your liking.
-
Serve: Serve the Bar-B-Que shrimp in bowls, along with plenty of napkins to catch any drips. Don’t forget to have hot French bread on hand to sop up the delicious sauce.
