  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot salsa
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 8 tablespoons wheat germ or breadcrumbs (for coating)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, 1/4 cup wheat germ, Worcestershire sauce, chopped parsley, chopped chives, nutmeg, and Tabasco sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  3. Shape Croquettes: Divide the salmon mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into round cakes. Coat each cake evenly with the remaining wheat germ or breadcrumbs.
