- 3 sachets of Boncabe level 15 (a spicy seasoning mix)
- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 3 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- A little sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
For the Cheese Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons UHT milk
- 1 sachet cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons cheesy potato seasoning mix
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Chicken:
- Clean the chicken wings thoroughly. To eliminate any unpleasant odors, rub them with lime juice and let them sit for 5 minutes.
- After marinating, boil the wings with crushed coriander seeds and garlic until they are fully cooked. Set aside.
-
Prepare the Coatings:
- Wet Batter: In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, egg, baking powder, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. If desired, add some seasoning to enhance the flavor.
- Dry Coating: Prepare the crispy all-purpose flour in another bowl for the dry coating.
-
Fry the Chicken:
- Dip each wing first into the wet batter, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it with the dry crispy flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over low heat and fry the coated wings until golden brown and crispy. Ensure the chicken is cooked through. Remove from oil and set aside.
-
Prepare the Sauce:
- In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the crushed garlic until fragrant.
- Add a glass of water, tomato ketchup, chili sauce, oyster sauce, a pinch of salt, and a little sugar. Adjust the taste according to your preference.
- Stir in the Boncabe seasoning mix and let the sauce simmer until it thickens slightly.
- Add the fried chicken wings to the sauce, tossing them gently to coat evenly. Set aside.
-
Prepare the Cheese Sauce:
- In a small pan, heat the UHT milk and cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Stir in the cornstarch and cheesy potato seasoning mix. Cook until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
-
Serve:
- Arrange the saucy chicken wings on a serving plate and generously drizzle with the cheesy sauce.
- Serve hot for the best experience, as the crispy texture and rich flavors are most enjoyable when fresh.
