Spicy Egg-Topped Broccoli Stir-Fry

Broccoli with Egg Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 head of broccoli
  • 1 egg
  • 5 red chilies
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (dissolved in water)
  • Water, as needed
  • Sugar, salt, seasoning powder, and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Broccoli: Rinse the broccoli thoroughly. Pour boiling water over it, then briefly boil until tender. Sprinkle a bit of salt, then remove from heat and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Aromatics: Slice the red chilies, garlic, and onion thinly. Heat a pan over medium heat and sauté the sliced chilies, garlic, and onion until fragrant.

  3. Cook the Egg: Add the egg to the pan, stirring continuously to scramble until fully cooked. Season with sugar, salt, seasoning powder, and pepper to taste.

  4. Combine and Thicken: Adjust the flavor as needed. Pour in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Assemble the Dish: Arrange the cooked broccoli on a serving plate. Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli. Serve warm.
