📝 Description: This is a well-seasoned mixture for grilled chicken. I often make extra of this chicken to have on hand for salads or other casseroles.
Ingredients:
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Boneless chicken breasts | 2 |
Garlic powder | 1 tsp |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Paprika | 1 tsp |
Black pepper | 1/2 tsp |
Onion powder | 1/2 tsp |
Cumin | 1/2 tsp |
Chili powder | 1/2 tsp |
Cayenne pepper | 1/4 tsp |
Margarine, melted | 1/4 cup |
Instructions:
-
Prepare Chicken:
- Pat chicken dry, then place each breast half between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and pound gently, but firmly, with a meat mallet until about 1/4 inch thick.
-
Seasoning Mixture:
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper, stirring well to blend all the spices.
-
Coat Chicken:
- Dip each chicken breast in 1/4 cup of melted margarine, ensuring both sides are coated.
-
Grill:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture generously on one side of the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on the first side.
-
Flip and Cook:
- Sprinkle the remaining seasoning mixture on the other side of the chicken breasts.
- Flip the chicken and continue grilling until no longer pink in the center, about 2-3 more minutes.
-
Optional:
- You may baste the chicken with additional melted margarine while grilling, if desired, to enhance flavor and moisture.
-
Serve:
- Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the grill and serve hot with your favorite sides or use it in salads or casseroles for a delicious meal.
Enjoy your flavorful and tender Bronzed Chicken! 🍽️
