Boneless chicken breasts 2
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Onion powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin 1/2 tsp
Chili powder 1/2 tsp
Cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp
Margarine, melted 1/4 cup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Chicken:

    • Pat chicken dry, then place each breast half between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and pound gently, but firmly, with a meat mallet until about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Seasoning Mixture:

    • In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper, stirring well to blend all the spices.
  3. Coat Chicken:

    • Dip each chicken breast in 1/4 cup of melted margarine, ensuring both sides are coated.
  4. Grill:

    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture generously on one side of the chicken breasts.
    • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on the first side.
  5. Flip and Cook:

    • Sprinkle the remaining seasoning mixture on the other side of the chicken breasts.
    • Flip the chicken and continue grilling until no longer pink in the center, about 2-3 more minutes.
  6. Optional:

    • You may baste the chicken with additional melted margarine while grilling, if desired, to enhance flavor and moisture.
  7. Serve:

    • Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the grill and serve hot with your favorite sides or use it in salads or casseroles for a delicious meal.
