  • Himalayan salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (for frying)

  1. Prepare Chicken: Boil the skinless chicken breast until fully cooked.

  2. Fry Tofu: In a non-stick pan, lightly fry the tofu with a small amount of sesame oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.

  3. Cook Egg: In the same pan (without adding oil), beat the egg with a pinch of salt and cook until done. Set aside with the tofu.

  4. Make Sambal: In a mortar and pestle, grind together the spicy bird’s eye chilies, garlic clove, and a pinch of Himalayan salt to make a spicy sambal. Optionally, add roasted shrimp paste (terasi) for extra flavor.

  5. Prepare Ayam Geprek: Combine the boiled chicken breast, fried tofu, and cooked egg in the mortar with the sambal. Crush and mix everything together until well combined.

  6. Serve: Ayam Geprek Diet Fatsecret is now ready to enjoy!

Cooking Notes:

  • Use a non-stick pan when frying tofu and cooking the egg to prevent sticking.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the sambal by adding or reducing the amount of spicy bird’s eye chilies according to your preference.
  • Serve immediately while hot for the best taste and texture.

This Ayam Geprek recipe offers a healthier twist with skinless chicken breast and minimal oil, perfect for those looking to enjoy a spicy Indonesian dish without the guilt.
