Klotok Cabe Ijo: A Spicy Delight

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Klotok fish (fried and shredded) 3 pieces
Tempe, cut into small cubes 1/2 block
Garlic, sliced roughly 2 cloves
Shallots, sliced roughly 5 cloves
Green chilies 5 pieces
Bird’s eye chilies (for spice lovers) A handful
Rajarasa seasoning To taste
Sweet soy sauce To taste
Royco seasoning To taste
Water A little

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic, shallots, green chilies, and bird’s eye chilies until fragrant and softened. Add Rajarasa seasoning, sweet soy sauce, and Royco seasoning, then pour in a splash of water to create a savory sauce; taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.

  2. Once the flavors meld and the sauce thickens slightly, introduce the fried tempeh and stir until it absorbs the sauce, letting the mixture reduce just a bit.

  3. Finally, gently fold in the shredded klotok fish, ensuring everything is well combined. Cook until heated through.

  4. Remove from heat and serve hot alongside steaming white rice for an ultimate meal experience. Enjoy! 😄
