Spicy Fried Tilapia (Nila Pedas Masak Simple)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg tilapia, cut into 6 pieces
- 1 piece lime
- Spice Blend (Ungkep):
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- Turmeric, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Ground Spices for Sautéing:
- 3 cloves garlic
- 5 shallots
- Sliced Spices:
- 10 red bird’s eye chilies (adjust to taste for spiciness)
- 5 green bird’s eye chilies (optional)
- 1 medium-sized slightly yellow tomato
- Spring onions, to taste
- Sugar
- Salt
- Cooking oil for frying/sautéing
- 1 glass of medium-sized water
Instructions:

Clean the tilapia thoroughly. Marinate the fish with lime juice and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

While waiting, prepare the spice blend (ungkep). This can be omitted, but marinating enhances the flavor. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

Fry the fish until golden brown to maintain its texture during cooking with spices. Grind and slice the spices.
Stir-fry until translucent wilted browned pour heat until oil tomato saute add fry minced permeate
