  • 2 tbsp Kolhapuri Khanda garlic masala
  • 3 tbsp peanuts
  • 3 sprigs curry leaves
  • 1 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 4 cloves garlic (make a paste)
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 3 tbsp oil

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Start by preparing the Kolhapuri Khanda Garlic Masala and set it aside for later use.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the peanuts and cook until they turn a light brown.
  3. Once the peanuts are lightly browned, add the curry leaves, garlic paste, and asafoetida. Cook for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the Kolhapuri Khanda garlic masala, sugar, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix everything well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the puffed rice, ensuring it’s evenly coated with the mixture. Cook for an additional minute before turning off the heat.
  6. Serve the Maharashtrian Bhadang with a hot cup of Masala Chai for a perfect evening snack.
