- Whole Wheat Brown Bread – 4 slices
- Unsalted Butter – As required
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil – As required
- Onion – 1, finely chopped
- Tomato – 1, finely chopped
- Green Chilli – 1, finely chopped
- Salt – To taste
- Chaat Masala Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon Juice – 1/2 teaspoon

Prepare the Masala Filling:
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onions to the pan and sauté for 1–2 minutes, or until they soften.
- Next, add the chopped tomatoes and green chilli to the pan. Cook for 2 more minutes, allowing the tomatoes to become soft and mushy.
- Add salt, chaat masala powder, red chilli powder, and lemon juice. Stir everything together and cook for another 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Turn off the heat and let the masala cool for about 15 minutes.

Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Heat your sandwich maker or grill pan.
- While the sandwich maker is heating, take two slices of whole wheat bread and spread a layer of butter on each side.
- Place a generous amount of the prepared masala filling between the two slices of bread.
- Grill the sandwich in the sandwich maker or on a grill pan until crispy and golden brown on both sides.

- Once the sandwich is ready, remove it from the sandwich maker and serve hot.
