Nasgor Samlasgote (Fried Rice with Spicy Beef Liver and Stink Beans)

Ingredients:

  • Rice: 1 serving
  • Stink beans (petai): 1/4 cup, diced
  • Beef liver: 1 piece, diced
  • Red chili: 1, sliced
  • Shallots: 2 cloves, sliced
  • Garlic: 2 cloves, sliced (adjust to taste)
  • Bird’s eye chili (cengek): to taste, sliced
  • Oil or butter: as needed for frying
  • Salt: to taste
  • Seasoning powder: to taste
  • Black pepper (ladaku pedes): to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef Liver:

    • Dice the beef liver into small cubes.
    • Soak the liver in hot water for about 3 minutes to remove any impurities.
    • Drain the water and set the liver aside.
  2. Prepare the Stink Beans:

    • Dice the stink beans (petai) into small pieces.
  3. Slice the Aromatics:

    • Thinly slice the shallots, garlic, red chili, and bird’s eye chili.
  4. Cooking Process:
