Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Sajiku flour seasoning
- 6 teaspoons tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Boncabe (spicy seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Chicken:
- Begin by washing the chicken thoroughly under cold running water. Pat it dry with paper towels.
-
Prepare the Breading Station:
- Set up two bowls: one with a beaten egg and the other with Sajiku flour seasoning.
-
Coat the Chicken:
- Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten egg, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Next, dredge the chicken pieces in the Sajiku flour seasoning, covering them evenly.
-
Fry the Chicken:
- Heat oil in a frying pan over low to medium heat. Carefully place the breaded chicken into the pan.
- Fry the chicken slowly until it is cooked through and has a golden-brown color. This process may take some time to ensure the chicken is crispy and thoroughly cooked.
- Once done, remove the chicken from the pan and let it drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
-
Make the Sauce:
- Finely chop the garlic cloves. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil over low heat.
- Add the chopped garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant and golden.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, chili sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, chili powder, Boncabe, and vinegar. Mix well.
- Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding water as needed. Continue stirring until all ingredients are well combined and the sauce has a smooth consistency.
-
Combine Chicken and Sauce:
- Pour the prepared sauce over the fried chicken, ensuring each piece is generously coated.
-
Serve:
- Your homemade Richeese Fire Chicken is now ready to be served. Enjoy it hot for the best flavor.
