Homemade Richeese Fire Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Sajiku flour seasoning
  • 6 teaspoons tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Boncabe (spicy seasoning)
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Begin by washing the chicken thoroughly under cold running water. Pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Prepare the Breading Station:

    • Set up two bowls: one with a beaten egg and the other with Sajiku flour seasoning.
  3. Coat the Chicken:

    • Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten egg, ensuring it is fully coated.
    • Next, dredge the chicken pieces in the Sajiku flour seasoning, covering them evenly.
  4. Fry the Chicken:

    • Heat oil in a frying pan over low to medium heat. Carefully place the breaded chicken into the pan.
    • Fry the chicken slowly until it is cooked through and has a golden-brown color. This process may take some time to ensure the chicken is crispy and thoroughly cooked.
    • Once done, remove the chicken from the pan and let it drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  5. Make the Sauce:

    • Finely chop the garlic cloves. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil over low heat.
    • Add the chopped garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant and golden.
    • Stir in the tomato sauce, chili sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, chili powder, Boncabe, and vinegar. Mix well.
    • Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding water as needed. Continue stirring until all ingredients are well combined and the sauce has a smooth consistency.
  6. Combine Chicken and Sauce:

    • Pour the prepared sauce over the fried chicken, ensuring each piece is generously coated.
  7. Serve:

    • Your homemade Richeese Fire Chicken is now ready to be served. Enjoy it hot for the best flavor.

Tip: For an extra kick, adjust the amount of chili powder and Boncabe to suit your taste preferences.
