Ikan Asin Siam with Tempe Balado ala FM

Red or green chilies As needed, coarsely ground

Instructions

Step Description
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the salted fish until golden brown and fully cooked. Ensure to flip it to prevent burning. Once cooked, remove and set aside.
2. In the same pan, fry the tempe until crispy and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Next, fry the sliced red onions in the pan until they turn golden and aromatic.
4. Add the coarsely ground chilies to the pan with the onions, and cook on medium heat until the chilies are fragrant and cooked through, ensuring they don’t burn.
5. Once the chili mixture has cooled, gently mix it with the fried salted fish and tempe.
