Stir-Fried Green Beans with Tofu (Tumis Buncis Campur Tahu)

Ingredients

Green beans (buncis) 1/4 pound
Tofu 3 pieces
Red onion 1, sliced
Garlic 2 cloves, minced
Bird’s eye chili (cabe rawit) 5 pieces, sliced
Kecap ABC extra spicy To taste
Magic seasoning To taste
Cooking oil For frying

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Start by trimming the green beans into long strips. Cut the tofu into small cubes and set aside.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: In a hot frying pan, add a splash of cooking oil. Once hot, sauté the minced garlic, sliced red onion, and bird’s eye chili until fragrant.

  3. Fry Tofu: Add the tofu cubes to the pan and fry until golden brown. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

  4. Combine Ingredients: In the same pan, add the green beans and cooked tofu. Stir well to combine.

  5. Season: Drizzle with Kecap ABC extra spicy and sprinkle in the Magic seasoning according to your taste. Mix everything thoroughly to ensure even coating.

  6. Serve: Once everything is well combined and heated through, remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Enjoy your flavorful stir-fried green beans with tofu!
