Ingredients:

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 large tortillas
  • (Optional) Jalapeรฑo for extra heat

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Begin by grilling chopped chicken breasts in a separate pan until the meat is white on the inside.
2 While grilling the chicken, chop the bell pepper and onion into small pieces. If desired, add jalapeรฑo for an extra kick.
3 Once the chicken is cooked through, add the chopped vegetables to the pan and grill until they are browned and fragrant.
4 In a separate pan over medium heat, melt one tablespoon of butter to prepare the quesadillas.
5 Place one tortilla in the pan and top it with half a cup of shredded cheese and half of the chicken-vegetable mixture.
6 Cover with another tortilla and cook until the bottom tortilla is browned, and the cheese begins to melt. Then, carefully flip the quesadilla.
7 Repeat the process for the other side, ensuring both sides are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
8 Once cooked, remove the quesadilla from the pan and cut it into wedges.
9 Garnish with sour cream and your favorite salsa before serving.

Tips:

  • Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavor profiles.
  • Customize the filling with your favorite vegetables or protein options.
  • Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less jalapeรฑo.
  • Serve with guacamole or a side salad for a complete meal.
