- Sugar, salt, ground pepper, and seasoning powder to taste
- Oil for cooking
- Water as needed
For the Ground Spices:
- 4 cloves garlic
- 6 cloves shallots
- 1 candlenut
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by preparing all the ingredients. Cut the tofu into small cubes, shred the oyster mushrooms, and clean the bean sprouts. Slice the green onion and chilies. Cube the chicken breast and set aside.
-
Heat the Oil: In a pan, heat enough oil over medium heat. Add the ground spices (garlic, shallots, and candlenut) and sliced chilies. Sauté until fragrant and the spices are softened.
-
Cook the Chicken: Add the cubed chicken breast to the pan. Stir-fry until the chicken changes color and is fully cooked.
-
Add Water: Pour in water according to your preference for the consistency of the dish. Stir well.
-
Add Vegetables: Introduce the bean sprouts and shredded oyster mushrooms to the pan. Season with sugar, salt, ground pepper, and seasoning powder to taste. Mix well.
-
Incorporate Tofu and Meatballs: Gently fold in the tofu cubes and meatballs. Continue to cook until the tofu is heated through and the meatballs are well-integrated into the dish.
-
Finish with Green Onions: Add the sliced green onions and give the dish a final stir. Adjust the seasoning if needed. You can also add a little sweet soy sauce for extra flavor.
-
Simmer and Serve: Allow the dish to simmer until everything is well-cooked and the flavors are melded together. Once done, serve hot.
