Title: Croissant Sandwich with Tuna and Thousand Island Sauce
Ingredients:
- 10 leaves of iceberg lettuce (widely available in major supermarkets)
- 10 croissants
- Canned tuna (I used Ayam Brand chunks in oil)
- Thousand Island sauce (Kewpie or your preferred brand)
- Extra spicy sambal (to taste)
Instructions:
- Begin by thoroughly washing the iceberg lettuce. Pat it dry with a paper towel, then chop it into small pieces.
- Open the can of tuna and steam it for about 5 minutes to heat it through.
- Carefully slice each croissant to create a pocket for the filling. Avoid cutting all the way through.
- Stuff each croissant with a generous amount of chopped lettuce and warmed tuna.
- Drizzle Thousand Island sauce over the tuna and lettuce mixture, adding extra spicy sambal according to your taste preference.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious and refreshing croissant sandwiches!
