  • 10 leaves of iceberg lettuce (widely available in major supermarkets)
  • 10 croissants
  • Canned tuna (I used Ayam Brand chunks in oil)
  • Thousand Island sauce (Kewpie or your preferred brand)
  • Extra spicy sambal (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Begin by thoroughly washing the iceberg lettuce. Pat it dry with a paper towel, then chop it into small pieces.
  2. Open the can of tuna and steam it for about 5 minutes to heat it through.
  3. Carefully slice each croissant to create a pocket for the filling. Avoid cutting all the way through.
  4. Stuff each croissant with a generous amount of chopped lettuce and warmed tuna.
  5. Drizzle Thousand Island sauce over the tuna and lettuce mixture, adding extra spicy sambal according to your taste preference.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious and refreshing croissant sandwiches!
