Fettuccini Hot Spicy Tuna

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams fettuccini
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 clove onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 red chilies, thinly sliced
  • 2 green chilies, thinly sliced
  • 3 pieces smoked tuna, soaked in warm water and cut into desired pieces
  • 2 tablespoons extra hot chili sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • Water for boiling

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Fettuccini:

    • Bring a pot of water to a boil, adding about 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and a pinch of salt.
    • Cook the fettuccini until it reaches an al dente texture, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics:

    • In a large skillet or wok, heat a small amount of cooking oil over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, sautéing until fragrant and the onions become translucent.
  3. Cook the Tuna and Chilies:

    • Add the smoked tuna pieces and both the red and green chilies to the skillet.
    • Cook, stirring frequently, until the tuna is heated through and the chilies have softened slightly.
  4. Combine and Season:

    • Add the cooked fettuccini to the skillet, stirring to combine with the tuna and chilies.
    • Pour in the extra hot chili sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well to coat the pasta evenly.
    • Season with salt and sugar to taste, adjusting the flavors as needed.
  5. Serve:

    • Once everything is well combined and heated through, remove from the heat.
    • Serve the hot and spicy fettuccini tuna immediately, garnished with additional sliced chilies if desired for an extra kick.
