Ingredients:
- 1 box of cake mix (flavor of your choice)
- 24 ice cream cones
- 1 container of chocolate chips
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:

1 | Prepare the Batter: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to prepare the batter. |
2 | Fill the Cones: Take each ice cream cone and fill it approximately 3/4 of the way full with the prepared cake batter. Make sure not to overfill, as the batter will rise during baking. Place the filled cones into the cups of a muffin tin or onto a baking sheet. |
3 | Bake: Place the muffin tin or baking sheet with the filled cones into the preheated oven. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cake cone comes out clean. |
4 | Add Chocolate Chips: While the cake cones are still warm from the oven, place about 10 chocolate chips on the top of each cone. Allow them to sit for 1-2 minutes to soften. |
5 | Spread Melted Chocolate: After the chocolate chips have softened, use a spoon or knife to gently spread the melted chocolate over the top of each cone, creating a smooth chocolate coating. |
6 | Decorate: Immediately after spreading the chocolate, decorate the cones with colorful sprinkles. Feel free to get creative and add your favorite toppings! |
7 | Alternative Topping: If you prefer, skip the chocolate chips and melted chocolate step. Instead, allow the baked cake cones to cool completely, then top them with homemade frosting and additional sprinkles for a classic touch. |
