Stir-Fried Water Spinach with Shredded Chicken

Tumis Kangkung with Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of water spinach (kangkung), cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 1 piece of fried chicken breast (or any part), shredded
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tomato
  • Seasoning powder
  • Pepper
  • Granulated sugar
  • MSG (optional)

Steps:

  1. Thoroughly wash the water spinach after cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Slice the shallots, garlic, and tomato.
  3. In a heated pan, sauté the shallots and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded fried chicken and stir well.
  5. Incorporate the water spinach into the pan, adding a little water. Cook until the water spinach starts to wilt.
  6. Add the seasoning powder, sliced tomato, a pinch of granulated sugar, and MSG if desired. Mix well and continue cooking until everything is well combined and the water spinach is fully cooked.
  7. Serve the Tumis Kangkung with Chicken hot and enjoy!
