Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Chilling Time: 4 hours
Total Time: 4 hours 40 minutes
Servings: 12

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 5/8 ounces white chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, divided
  • 1 1/3 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons melted chocolate (for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Pastry:

    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Thaw the puff pastry sheet at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
    • Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
    • Cut the pastry sheet into 3 strips along the fold marks.
    • Place the strips on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    • Remove from the oven and let cool on wire racks.
  2. Make White Chocolate Mousse:

    • In a large microwavable bowl, combine the white chocolate and 1/4 cup of the heavy cream.
    • Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes or until the white chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through.
    • Stir until the white chocolate is completely melted.
    • Let cool for about 20 minutes until it reaches room temperature, stirring occasionally.
  3. Prepare Whipped Cream:

    • In a separate chilled medium bowl, beat the remaining 1-1/4 cups of heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat.
  4. Combine and Assemble:

    • Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the cooled white chocolate mixture until well combined.
    • Fold in the remaining whipped cream just until blended.
  5. Assemble Napoleons:

    • Carefully split each pastry strip into 2 layers, creating a total of 6 layers.
    • Reserve 2 of the top layers.
    • On the remaining 4 layers, spread approximately 1/2 cup of the white chocolate mousse and 1/3 cup of sliced strawberries on each layer.
    • Stack two filled layers on top of each other for each dessert, finishing each with one of the reserved pastry layers on top.
  6. Finish:

    • Drizzle each Napoleon with melted chocolate for an elegant touch.
    • Refrigerate the Napoleons for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Enjoy these Strawberry White Chocolate Napoleons as a delightful dessert that balances the richness of white chocolate with the freshness of strawberries, perfect for any special occasion or gathering!
