Honey & Soy Glazed Dory

Ingredients:

  • 2 dory fish fillets, cut into desired sizes
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste for more sweetness)
  • 4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2-3 red chili peppers, sliced
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Fish:

    • Place the dory fillets in a bowl or zip-lock bag. Add the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red chili peppers. Mix well to ensure the fillets are evenly coated with the marinade. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
  2. Cook the Fish:

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the marinated dory fillets to the skillet. Cook the fillets, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Serve:

    • Serve the honey and soy glazed dory fillets hot, accompanied by steamed rice and your choice of cooked vegetables.
