Sapi Sukiyaki Recipe
Ingredients:

- 1 kg beef (cut into finger-sized pieces with medium texture)
- Seasonings:
- 1 medium onion (sliced thinly)
- 15 grams white pepper
- 30 grams butter
- 80 ml sweet soy sauce
- 60 ml tomato sauce
- 30 ml spicy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 9 grams flavor enhancer (optional)
- Garnishes:
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 small pineapple
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Ingredients:
- Cut the beef into pieces approximately the size of a child’s pinky finger. Thinly slice the onion.
-
Season the Beef:
- In a large bowl, combine the beef pieces with all the seasonings: white pepper, butter, sweet soy sauce, tomato sauce, spicy sauce, oyster sauce, and flavor enhancer if using. Ensure that each piece of beef is well-coated with the seasoning mixture.
-
Massage the Beef:
- Gently massage the seasonings into the beef to ensure even distribution. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
-
Cook the Beef:
- Heat a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned beef and onions to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
-
Simmer:
- Continue cooking until the sauce has thickened and the beef is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
-
Prepare the Garnishes:
- While the beef is cooking, slice the bell peppers and pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
-
Serve:
- Once the beef is cooked and the sauce has reduced to your liking, garnish the dish with the sliced bell peppers and pineapple.
-
Enjoy:
- Serve the Sapi Sukiyaki hot and enjoy the rich flavors.
Notes:
- Adjust the level of spiciness to your taste by varying the amount of spicy sauce.
- For a complete meal, serve with steamed rice or noodles.
Happy cooking!
