Honey-Glazed Chicken Wings
Category: Main Dishes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
Ingredient | Quantity |
---|---|
Chicken wings | 8 |
Tomato pulp | 150g |
Extra virgin olive oil | 1 tablespoon |
Honey | 2 tablespoons |
Apple cider vinegar | 25g |
Paprika | 1 tablespoon |
Fresh chili pepper | 1 |
Garlic cloves | 3 |
Salt | to taste |
Instructions
- Start by preparing the chicken wings. Remove any leftover feathers and carefully singe them over an open flame to ensure they are fully cleaned.
- Once cleaned, place the wings in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the paprika, honey, tomato pulp, olive oil, and salt to the bowl.
- Slice the fresh chili pepper and peel the garlic cloves, lightly crushing them with the side of a knife. Add both the chili and garlic to the bowl.
- Using your hands, thoroughly mix all the ingredients together to coat the wings evenly.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours, allowing the wings to marinate and absorb the flavors.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- After marinating, take the chicken wings out of the fridge and arrange them on the prepared tray.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy. For extra crispiness, broil them for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Once ready, serve the wings hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors.
Tips:
- Feel free to adjust the amount of honey for a sweeter glaze or increase the chili for extra heat.
- For a more intense flavor, marinate the wings overnight.
