Pepper Beef Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef (thinly sliced)
For Marinating the Beef:
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Saori sauce (a type of soy sauce)
- Salt, white pepper powder, and granulated sugar, to taste
For Stir-Frying:
- 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 cm ginger (finely chopped)
- 1/2 large onion (chopped)
- 2 packets Saori sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- A splash of water
- Salt and sugar, to taste
- 2 stalks green onions
- 2 red chili peppers (seeds removed)
- 2 green chili peppers (seeds removed)
- 2 teaspoons black pepper (toasted and coarsely ground)
- Cooking oil

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices with sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, Saori sauce, salt, white pepper powder, and granulated sugar. Massage the mixture into the beef and let it marinate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Prepare the Stir-Fry: Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic, onion, and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.

Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the skillet. Pour in the Saori sauce, sweet soy sauce, and soy sauce. Add a splash of water, then season with salt and sugar to taste. Stir-fry the mixture until the beef is cooked through and has absorbed the flavors.

Add Vegetables and Spices: Just before finishing, stir in the sliced red and green chili peppers, chopped green onions, and toasted black pepper. Mix well and cook for another minute or two.
