Teriyaki Beef and Bean Sprouts Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
- 1 oz beef (200 grams)
- 2000 grams bean sprouts (or as desired)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 bird’s eye chilies (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet of Saori Teriyaki Sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 2 scallions, sliced
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Beef: Boil the beef with a bit of broth as I used the broth for my rawon soup. Set aside a small amount of the broth for later use.
-
Sauté Aromatics: In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and chopped garlic. Sauté until they become fragrant.
-
Add Chilies and Scallions: Incorporate the sliced green chilies, bird’s eye chilies, and sliced scallions into the pan. Continue to cook for a few minutes.
-
Combine Beef and Seasonings: Add the boiled beef along with a bit of the reserved broth to the pan. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, teriyaki sauce, and sweet soy sauce. Stir well and let it simmer until the sauce slightly reduces and the flavors meld together. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
-
Add Bean Sprouts: Finally, add the bean sprouts to the pan. Stir and cook until the sprouts are just wilted.
-
Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious Teriyaki Beef and Bean Sprouts!
