Asem-Asem Buncis with Beef

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 pound beef
  • 5 green beans
  • 2 baby carrots
  • 2 large red chilies
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 shallots
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 cm galangal (or ginger if unavailable)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Tamarind paste (to taste)
  • Lime juice (to taste)
  • Sweet soy sauce (to taste)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Begin by boiling the beef until tender. Once cooked, drain the beef and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
