Stir-Fried Bok Choy with Tempeh in Oyster Sauce

Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
5-6 small bok choy
3 cloves garlic, minced
5 pieces tempeh, diced
4 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground pepper
Salt and sugar to taste

Instructions:

  1. Blanch the Bok Choy: Begin by bringing a pot of water to a boil. Blanch the bok choy for about 4 minutes (adjust based on the size; small heads may only need 2 minutes). Once cooked, drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Tempeh Mixture: In a skillet, heat a splash of oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the diced tempeh and stir-fry for a few minutes until lightly golden.

  3. Add Sauces and Seasoning: Pour in the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, ground pepper, salt, and sugar. Mix well to combine, then add a splash of water to create a slightly saucy consistency.

  4. Serve: Arrange the blanched bok choy on a serving plate and generously pour the tempeh and sauce mixture over the top. Your stir-fried bok choy with tempeh in oyster sauce is now ready to delight your taste buds!

Enjoy this delectable dish as a side or main course, perfect for any meal!
